Join the Hungry Tissue lab
We were recently awarded an MRC fellowship to investigate how mechanical and metabolic landscapes interact to organise mammary epithelial tissues. By measuring and perturbing these landscapes in living tissue models, we will test how their coupling maintains normal tissue architecture, and how its disruption contributes to the earliest steps in breast cancer.

We are currently recruiting a postdoc to develop dynamic experimental systems in which mechanical and metabolic conditions can be changed while living mammary tissues are imaged. They will track how individual cells respond and determine how those responses collectively maintain or disrupt tissue organisation.
